Spring has sprung

What a wonderful weekend we have just had up here in Moray 19oC on Saturday and Sunday, we have got the veggie beds finished can want to plant the seeds!! It is all so exciting and the kids really love planting the seed, they planted sunflowers so we are having a competion to see who can grow the tallest.  We also cleaned out our shed OMG did it need it, took all of it to the recycling centre good job done, we found lots of little mouse nests in the shed we will have to sort that out later in the year they have all going back to the fields for now thank goodness.  Our dogs were loving the good weather outside all day just the bestests for us puppies.

Hello and Welcome

Hello and Welcome to my blog it will mainly be about my family and me living in rural Scotland and trying to live more sustainably.  I will post about cooking(mainly baking love it), our veg garden and photography which is my passion(not always enough time in the day for that). So a little about the family well there is me Claudette in my 30's and just loving my life as a mum, and Mr C works hard to look after us, has a great sense of humour, and never empties the kitchen bin!!! Grace 18 months and Innes 4 both live wires and full of fun as I will share with you in my coming posts.  Then last but not least the 2 cheeky girls Embo a cross breed(heniz 57) dog, and my big lump and huge cuddler Skye the lucher(saluki, greyhound X) and Miss Molly puss who is now the grand age of 16 and you wouldn't think it, don't now how she copes in this mad house of ours.  Well thats all for now folks speak to you soon.
